The Startup673 programme is a collaborative effort involving Shell LiveWIRE Brunei, Darussalam Enterprise, and AITI, strategically using the Brunei Innovation Lab as its innovation platform.

In essence, Startup673 is a platform where innovation meets entreprenuership, fostering a dynamic environment for innovative ideas to evolve into thriving businesses.

To revolutionize Brunei’s economic landscape by empowering local entrepreneurs,  diversifying the economy, to create employment opportunities, and position Brunei as a regional Innovation Hub.

2. What are the criterias to join?
You are eligible to join any programme under Startup673 if you are any of the following:

 

  • An individual or aspiring entrepreneur
  • Aged 18 and above
  • An unemployed individual or graduate from any education institution
  • An individual with a new business idea
  • An existing business owner with a new product and business license
3. I don’t have a background in entrepreneurship or tech, can I still join?
Yes, even if you don't have a background in entrepreneurship or tech, you can still join. The Startup673 initiative welcomes individuals with diverse skills, including those in business, marketing, design, project management, and other non-technical areas.
 
There is a specific track designed for individuals with non-technical skills, focusing on business strategy, ideation, market viability, and project management. So, you can absolutely participate and benefit from the programmes regardless of your background.
4. Do I have to be in a team to join or can I join individually?
You can participate either individually or as a team. However, registration is per individual.
5. Do I have to attend fully?
Participation involves attending various opportunities meant to benefit you. While we remain flexible to your requirements, it's essential to engage actively to benefit fully from the program's offerings. Active participation will not only enhance your skills but also increase your chances of success in transforming your innovative ideas into successful businesses.
6. What will I learn & how can I benefit?
Through programmes under the Startup673 initiative, you will learn and benefit from:

7. Do I have to bring a laptop?
Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops. However, it is mandatory to bring laptops for those that are part of the Builder Track.
8. Will I be receiving a certificate at the end of the programmes?
Certificates will be available upon request.
9. Are the programmes conducted in English or Malay?
The programmes will be conducted in mixed Malay and English.
